This is a study-book hub for the revised AP Statistics course, not a 73-link directory. Work through five units in order, use the formula sheet when computation matters, and finish each unit with a decision checkpoint: what question is being asked, what evidence is available, what method fits, and what conclusion is justified?
Your 20-chapter 2027 study map
Mark a chapter only when you can explain the idea, choose the method in a fresh context, and interpret the result without copying a worked example.
Exploring One-Variable Data and Collecting Data
Probability, Random Variables, and Probability Distributions
Inference for Categorical Data: Proportions
Inference for Quantitative Data: Means
Regression Analysis
The 20 chapters account for all 55 current CED topic codes
The chapter labels above show the exact code ranges they cover. In particular, Unit 2 includes the two-categorical-variable topics at 2.1–2.2, Unit 3 includes current chi-square homogeneity/independence at 3.14–3.15, and Unit 5 ends at least-squares regression rather than the removed regression-slope inference unit.
Every chapter ends with the same six-question reasoning check
Turn the book into exam performance
Five micro-lessons that turn reading into AP-style reasoning
You may generalize to the sampled population if sampling is defensible, but you cannot automatically claim a treatment caused the difference. Write the scope before calculating anything.
The revised Unit 2 begins with two categorical variables. First compare conditional distributions or a two-way display; then move into simulation, probability, random variables, binomial/Normal models, and sampling distributions.
Describe the probability of results at least as extreme as observed, assuming the null model—not the probability that the null hypothesis is true.
For before/after data, create one difference per individual and analyze those differences with a one-sample t procedure.
A negative residual means the model overpredicted that observation. Use residual plots to assess whether the linear form is appropriate.
After every calculation, state what the number means for the actual population, process, model, or study—not just which button produced it.
Choose a realistic study route
Use class assignments for depth and this book as the five-unit organizing spine.
Finish each unit with an MCQ set and one typed FRQ before moving on.
Do not reread everything. Use the final-review diagnostic, then repair the lowest units and practices first.
