Marine Corps PFT Calculator
The Marine Corps PFT calculator applies the published event tables, supports the 2026 combat-arms sex-neutral option, scores pull-ups or push-ups, the mandatory plank and three-mile run, and checks both event minimums and the 210-point combat-arms requirement.

How to use the marine corps pft calculator
The Marine Corps PFT calculator applies the published event tables, supports the 2026 combat-arms sex-neutral option, scores pull-ups or push-ups, the mandatory plank and three-mile run, and checks both event minimums and the 210-point combat-arms requirement. The sections below explain the data, assumptions and limitations so the answer can be checked rather than accepted as a generic black-box output.
Current event structure
The Marine Corps PFT calculator scores one upper-body choice, the plank and the three-mile run. Pull-up and push-up points are not combined; the selected event supplies one component. The plank is entered as minutes and seconds, and the run is entered to the second. The result separates the three scores before adding them, which makes an incorrect event entry easier to identify.
Age, sex and 2026 combat-arms tables
Upper-body and run standards change by age group and, for non-combat-arms Marines, sex. Beginning January 1, 2026, Marines with a combat-arms Primary Military Occupational Specialty are assessed with the male age-normed scoring table regardless of sex and must reach at least 210 total points. The Marine Corps PFT calculator therefore provides a separate combat-arms mode instead of silently applying the ordinary sex-based table. The plank scale remains common, with 1:10 as the minimum and 3:45 as the maximum.
Minimum event rule
A high total cannot repair a failed event. The calculator therefore marks the test unqualified when pull-ups or push-ups, plank time or run time misses its minimum, even if the numerical sum from the other events is large. This is an important improvement over generic three-number adders. It mirrors the rule that minimum performance must be met in each event as well as the required combined score.
Class thresholds and combat-arms status
When all event minimums are met, 235–300 is shown as first class, 200–234 as second class and 150–199 as third class. Scores below 150 are unqualified. In combat-arms mode, the Marine Corps PFT calculator also reports whether the separate 210-point requirement is met. A score from 150 through 209 can still have an ordinary PFT class but does not satisfy the 2026 combat-arms minimum.
Rounding and table behavior
Between the published minimum and maximum, the engine reproduces the point progression by linear interpolation and whole-point rounding. Maximum performance is capped at the event maximum. A slower-than-minimum run or below-minimum repetition count receives zero and fails the event. The displayed minimum/maximum range provides a quick audit for the selected age group.
Official-use limitation
This Marine Corps PFT calculator is a planning and checking tool. It does not administer a PFT, certify repetitions, apply every altitude or medical-status procedure, or write a score to an official system. Standards can change, and special populations can have administrative rules. Confirm consequential decisions with current official guidance and authorized personnel.
Marine Corps PFT Calculator questions
Can push-ups earn 100 points?
No. Under the displayed tables, the push-up option is capped at 70 points.
Does a 150 total always pass?
Only when every event minimum is also met.
Which age group is used?
The calculator selects the published group containing the entered age.
What changes in combat-arms mode?
The calculator uses the male age-normed event table regardless of sex and separately checks the 210-point requirement effective in 2026.
