How the vehicle wrap cost calculator works
The estimator begins with a vehicle-specific exterior area and applies the selected coverage. A full cargo van uses more material than a sedan, while hood- and roof-only jobs use dedicated surface fractions. The waste allowance covers trimming, seams and panel orientation.
Material versus installation labor
Vinyl cost is applied to the waste-adjusted square footage. Labor is applied to the installed coverage and multiplied by the selected body complexity. Design and previous-wrap removal remain separate so a commercial graphics job is not priced like a simple color change.
Is the automatic square footage exact?
No. It is a planning baseline. Enter a measured area when the installer has panel dimensions or a vehicle template.
Does the estimate include paint repair?
No. Rust, clear-coat failure, dents, ceramic coating removal and body repair should be quoted separately before installation.
For a U.S. quote comparison, keep design, removal and surface-preparation charges visible rather than burying them in the square-foot rate. Commercial vehicles may also need downtime, fleet consistency and local installation scheduling considered separately.
