How to use the Uma Musume inheritance planner
This calculator is a factor inventory tool. Add the visible blue, red and green stars for both selected parents and the four grandparents. It totals each factor color, compares the pool with player-defined targets and identifies missing stars before a training run begins.
Compatibility is displayed as a separate planning input. The tool does not convert it into a claimed activation percentage because inheritance outcomes and underlying game mechanics are more complex than a single user-entered number. Keeping compatibility separate avoids presenting an unofficial formula as a guaranteed game result.
Build one goal at a time
Set target stars according to the trainee and race plan—for example, a desired stat factor, distance aptitude or scenario-specific green factors. The target-coverage result is the minimum completion ratio across all three categories, so a strong blue pool cannot hide a missing red or green requirement.
Because each color can represent different factor types, record the exact factor names outside the total when two pools have the same star count but different practical value. Totals support planning; they do not replace detailed parent selection.
